Yes - we usually do not accept any manufacturing orders under $25000 USD - this is because we work on 10% margin for all orders under $50k.
This means for order corresponding to order value of $25000 (our lower limit)- our margins would be $2500. Assuming a production run of 4 to 6 weeks which could sometimes stretch to 8 weeks - this would mean the payroll cost for team of 4-5 people allocated to oversee the production, would be on this $2500 budget - which is very challenging even in a low cost country like India.
Having said that, in some cases - we have worked on orders below $25k, usually overing around $18k to $20k but there were very specific reasons and we can only evaluate those specific requirements on case-by-case basis.
